      1. Which wacom do you have? I know the Cintinq (I hope I spelled that right) lets you draw direct on it. Other tablets also come with Photoshop elements as part of the setup. I have the wacom bamboo and have had it for so long I can’t tell you where the original cds that came with it are. Photoshop is not free, the new Cc version license costs $20 a month. Manga Studio is much cheaper to buy outright. So for my new laptop which I am using for these I just decided to go with Manga Studio.

      2. It’s called the Wacom Bamboo tablet. I bought it in 2010. When you set it up you can draw straight out the box. You don’t need additional software. Ever since I upgraded my OS it became incompatible. I went from Leopard to Yosemite. Now they saying I need to buy software. Hell no! Can you buy it outright or only monthly?

      3. Yeah, that would have been Photoshop elements that came with the bamboo setup. You can buy cs6 and other older versions outright but the new Cc (version 7) you are cornered into paying monthly which means you will be paying forever. The older versions cost in the region of $600 to buy in a one time payment

      4. In your opinion, which one is better? I’m reading on Manga site how they are the number one most used software. Why would you need a new computer for the upgrade?

      5. Both, but more specifically Manga Studio 5. I’m really considering investing in the $50 version if that’s what you are using for your comics. But I also wanna know should I just get the more expensive one if it has it all and I don’t need to worry about Photoshop.

      6. IMHO after using Manga Studio 5 for a little more than a week, I am really impressed that even with basic knowledge and a couple of YouTube tutorials that I am able to easily find my way around. It does what Photoshop does, plus let you do line work as vector which is really great. In the end you have to take the call and unless you are a super pro publishing comic books and what not, I wouldn’t bother with the more expensive one.

      7. Would you happen to know the difference? At the moment I’m unable to comprehend the differences. So do you have the digital or physical version? So are you saying you will be able to creat your comics from scratch with the software using your Bamboo?
