After 8 years in advertising, I accepted a role in a ‘corporate institution’. My first review with my boss was very interesting. It included a little note that made it clear that converse all stars were not acceptable – even on casual Friday. 🙂

Ack, I feel “not right” in a dress and would much rather wear my All-Stars with jeans – but I must swap the Converse for “real shoes”!

Oh it’s horrible, and makes it impossible to run up and down the stairs carrying things or just plain going about your duties. 😦 but 4 days a week I endure it 🙂
